DHI Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspectors (CFDAIs)
Based on National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 80) provisions which have been incorporated into the National Building Code of Canada, documented inspections for fire-rated door assemblies are required on an annual basis. According to NFPA 80, these inspections can only be facilitated and signed off by a person with the proper knowledge and understanding of the operating components of the specific door. At Allmar, we have staff with the FDAI and CFDAI certifications who will conduct fire door assembly inspection for the building owner, assess and recommend any required updates to your doors or hardware if necessary, and provide and sign off on the record of inspection to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
